OSHA to Propose New Silica Rules

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has announced that it will propose stricter workplace rules for crystalline silica. The new rules will lower the allowable exposure limit and increase testing requirements for companies both in the workplace and of workers (medical tests). SGCDpro is following this issue and will submit comments during the 90 day period. Affected members are also urged to submit comments.
